Over 20 years experience of agritech R&D and agribusiness incubation in Africa, Asia and Europe. Most recently part of the strategy team at CDC (the development finance institution of the UK government), manager of DFID’s Technical Assistance Facility for CDC’s early stage investments in Africa and Asia, and strategy consultant to the impact investment community.
Track record in helping build global R&D networks, regional technology platforms and incubators, and public-private partnerships for agricultural development across the Global South as well as mentoring start-ups and scale-ups across sectors. Previously program director at CIMMYT-Mexico and ICRISAT-India, following management roles for the Generation Challenge Program, IITA-Nigeria, and commercial sector in Europe.
